1000 BOOKS CAMPAIGN
To help promote our new online library database, Autism Victoria is pleased to launch the 1000 Books Campaign.
Over the past 12 months Autism Victoria has enjoyed significant growth in our Membership, and we look forward to supporting even more families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as providing resources for professionals and interested members of the community to increase knowledge, understanding, and awareness of ASDs.
This increase in numbers has also led to a large increase in requests for books and other library resources. To meet this need we are seeking your support through our major fundraising effort titled the “1000 Books Campaign”. The aim of the campaign is to increase our library by at least 1000 books over the next 12 months.
All donations are welcome, and donors will be acknowledged through placement of a “Donated by...” caption in each book purchased through the appeal, as well as acknowledgement in our quarterly magazine, The Spectrum.
The average cost of each book we provide in the library is $40, but your donation, no matter how big or small, will help Autism Victoria to continue to provide the most comprehensive specialist resource library on Autism Spectrum Disorders in Victoria.
