Recognising the need for evaluation and endorsement of best practice within ASD services, Autism Victoria began the development of Amaze Autism Accreditation in August 2009. The process involved consultation from a range of key stakeholders including DEECD, ECIS, DHS, FaHCSIA and other leading academics and consultants in the field of ASD.
This combined expertise together with input from international and national partnerships has resulted in the development of Australia’s first autism accreditation program – a robust quality assurance framework that ensures consistent and positive outcomes for individuals with an ASD.
Since its launch in April 2010, Amaze Autism Accreditation has experienced steady growth and is working towards the achievement of accredited status with services and professionals throughout Victoria. Ultimately, these services will be able to demonstrate that they have the specialist skills and knowledge needed to work with the ASD community and their families.

Amaze Autism Accreditation Information Sessions
Amaze Autism Accreditation is offering a number of information sessions for professionals and services interested in learning more about the accreditation process.
As the sessions held at Autism Victoria will be streamed live through our web-streaming facility, it will provide an opportunity for those who cannot attend these presentations in person, to view them remotely.
