Training for Disability Case

Managers

A one-and-a-half day training program for disability case managers being delivered across Victoria.

  

Participants:

This training is available for disability case managers who:

  • Work for the Department of Human Services (DHS) or
  • Work for a Community Services Organisation funded to provide disability case management by DHS

The course content is suitable for participants who want to learn more about:

  • The main features of ASD
  • The key impacts on the individual, their families, carers and siblings
  • Implementing effective core strategies with individuals with ASD
  • Effective case management and engaging in case consultancy with individuals ASD and their family/carer
  • Factors affecting service provision for individuals with ASD

It is expected that there will be an opportunity for participants to use their experiences to contribute to discussion about the interface between theory and practice with the broader case management and planning framework.

Complete the registration form including your preferred dates for the training and send:

A completed registration form will only serve as an expression of interest until your position in the training has been confirmed and your manager has approved your registration form.   

Your expression of interest will be confirmed by Caetlyn via email or phone no less than 5 working days prior to the training day.

 

Note: Places for each training event are limited, please book early to avoid disappointment.

 

The registration form can then be used as your confirmation letter.

Registrations close:  five full working days before the advertised training

Cancellation Policy:  5 working days' notice is requested for all cancellations
