World Autism Awareness Day MarchIMPORTANT UPDATE! One day to go!! Autism Victoria would like to remind everyone to join us for our March for World Autism Awareness Day Tomorrow, Thursday 1st April. We have an exciting update to our agenda: We are delighted to announce that joining us in the march will be Parliamentary Secretary for Disability The Hon. Bill Shorten We are very pleased that he is able to join us to help mark such an important day on the ASD calendar. This raises the important point that participating in the event will help to show parliament the necessity of continued improvements to funding and services. Large participation at the march will be a vital tool in helping to make our voice heard. We urge you to attend if possible, and pass the information onto your contacts. Autism Awareness MerchandiseFor those interested in purchasing ribbons we will have a limited number of ribbons for sale for a gold coin donation. We will also have pins (in the same style as the ribbon) for sale for $3. Please try to bring the correct change if you are interested in purchasing pins as there will be limited change available on the day. These will be available out the front of the Autism Victoria office from 11.30 until the march begins. Getting to the EventWe would also like to advise that some parking may be available at the museum carpark which can be accessed from Rathdowne St. Additional parking may be found in the surrounding streets but could be difficult to find given the time of day. We would recommend that if possible, it may be easier to catch public transport. We look forward to seeing you there! Please see below for details of the march.
